Sydney market slowing down

Defined slowdown for Sydney removalists

Did we say property staging works ? Well, it usually does; but my goodness things are a little different in this current  market. The Sydney residential property market is crawling along.

January was the month of professional home styling but many of these properties simply did not sell. How the market has changed. At Man with a Van we have been staggered at the number of clients returning their hired designer furniture and deciding to say put in the current home. Not a difficult decision to make when nobody turns up for the open house inspection.

February is turning out to be a very quiet month all round. Home sales are right off, things are quiet all over Sydney. At Man with a Van our current bookings are the smaller home and office moving. those larger house moves that were so prevalent in December and January have dried up.

There are still a couple of pockets in Strength in the Sydney market. Take Yanko Avenue in Bronte for example. This popular Bronte road is always in demand.

Yanko Avenue Bronte Eastern Suburbs
The property at  21 Yanko Av recently sold for 5.5 million. The same house sold in 2015 for 4.4 million. It sold in 2011 for 3.7 million. It goes show that a well designed and build house will always keep its value – even in a depressed  market.
